If you haven't tried this already, completely remove, clean, and re-mount the 
Adaptall mount.  

It took me about 10 attempts to figure out just how it attaches and interacts 
with the camera, but last time I had the "no f-stop data sent to the camera" 
issue with my Tamron 90mm f/2.5 macro lens, removing that mount and reattaching 
it made everything alright (for now).
