Actually, Bob, I wasn't specifically referring to the A 20/2.8's
jen-you-wine aw-fish-ill hood, but to the lens itself (which has
that flaring front end to cleverly prevent vignetting when adding a
filter or a hood).

As for the "official" A 20/2.8 hood (I think it's a MH-RB67), it's
shaped like a big pie plate with a hole in the middle, and is pretty
useless, in my opinion.  (Although, mounted on a pole and aimed
toward the equator, it picks up 249 TV channels...)  It does come in
a nice leatherette case, though - <g>.
