I think you should have stood 1 1/2 paces to the left. Which isn't what you asked but hell a little constructive criticism is always in order.

The above statement is my cropping advice.

1. Lighten the mid tones.

2. Lighten the shadows a bit, with out changing the black point, (just bumping up the mid tones may help here), there's no detail in the blacks at all, at least on my monitor.

3. The snow is gray, unless there's a lot of coal dust in the air it should be white. You don't want to blow it out but you do want to give the impression of white so move the white point down a bit.
