Search on the Apple website for "iMovie camcorder support" or "Final Cut Express camcorder support". The latest releases of iMovie and Final Cut Express can use the file formats from nearly anything, but which cameras are actually *controllable* by the applications, and which cameras Mac OS X supports via USB2 due to what drivers are available, can be a question mark.
