Checking HERE: http://kmp.bdimitrov.de/lenses/primes/normal/index.html It seems to say that ALL of Pentax's 50mm f/1.7 lenses share an optical formula (six elements in five groups). I think you'll find that the "A" setting makes it much more user-friendly to use. I have a couple of them and really like them (but don't use much since I got the FA version). -Charles -- Charles Robinson - [email protected] Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org http://www.facebook.com/charles.robinson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
