I know,.  It was the sensor statements that I hadn't heard before.

And no "dis" intended, but I'd be more interested if they had included the Pentax sensors. One of the conclusions is that the faster lens allows light to hit the sensor at oblique angles at the edges, negating the advantage of the faster lens.

I'd be curious to know if that is holds true when using the fast lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor (like Pentax) as it apparently does on the two cameras listed that both have FX sensors?
