I'm grateful to everyone who's personally responded, but there is something going on here, a certain very attractive culture, I would say, that goes beyond the individuals, that conditions their participation in it. Lottsa things to be included, of course. The generosity and patience I mentioned are a place to start. Having fun, not taking it all too seriously, is certainly in evidence. And of course the passion for photography and about good photos. In a sense you do have to raise your hand, though. It was not without a little trepidation that I first spoke up here.
