Paul, Pages imports and exports Word .DOC files or .RTF files. They work perfectly in Word. The technical writing I'm doing now requires either the company's home-grown editing suite or plain text. I distribute articles and other collateral produced for pay with Acrobat PDF files (exported from Pages). I have no need of Word.
