I had three of those 5 MB bricks at one time. Cast aside by a client when they got rid of their Apple /// computers. Two of them worked. One formatted in ProDOS for my IIgs, the other formatted for use with my Mac Plus. Man, they held tons of files, downloaded at 1200 then 2400 BAUD. Ended up throwing them away when I upgraded to 840 meg externals.
