Can anyone think of a scenario where a 64-gigabyte card sounds

That's almost 3,000 shots on one card in RAW mode, even. Wow!
I know a sports photog who might easily shoot 500-1000 at one event.
Capacity must always exceed need.
At a race, it's easy for me to shoot a thousand or more a day trying to
get several shots of each of the 200-400 cars entered. I'd still rather
deal with a bunch of 4GB cards, though, than a few 64GB cards, because
it's less shots to lose at once if I lose or destroy a card, or it
commits hara kiri.
