That's a pretty good little scanner. I used to sell them, and owned one for a few years. I sold it after I got a Nikon Coolscan 8000 for cheap, which I needed for my 6x7 negs. I only just put the 8000 in storage last month, after realizing how much desk space it took up and how infrequently I use it (read: maybe once a year). Anyway, the Scan Dual IV will serve you well, assuming it works. Even if it doesn't, you might be able to get it fixed and still be a good value. Great find!
