Yeah, that's about the only thing I'm not overjoyed about. Electrical cable remotes, while more expensive, are more reliable and potentially transfer even less vibration to the camera. A mechanical cable release is simply going to click a switch in the shutter release button anyway. I'd rather see a cable remote AND front/back IR remote receivers.
