But a fast 50mm on 24x36 (and even APS-C) has less DOF which is why
I'm a bit puzzled.

RF is something I'd really like to experiment with but costs, even 2nd
hand, are holding me back.
Leica is nothing but a dream. Bessa-class camera are interesting but
still mighty expensive IMO.
