Some of you with Iowa ties asked about my location. I I live in Ft Dodge in NW IA. While there is plenty of flatland of good rich loam filled with corn & soybeans, there is also river land, lakes and marshes. I also travel around the state & I will try to label the photos with their location i.e the castle keep & "little house" were in Winterset IA : home of the Bridges of Madison County. I've never been to Clinton but I've been to Dubuque Davenport and Burlington so I know the east coast. Likewise Clarinda but oddly I know several people who were raised up down there. The weather here can be on the extreme side. We are familiar with flooding and to those in Australia so affected I empathize and I know as bad as the flooding can be, the cleanup is the hard part. Shoveling mud out of your house gets old quick. On the good side I am pleased to make new friends in the world including Israel Australia and all points where Pentax cameras rule.
