$1200 was the retail price floated in the "pleased by the response" article that was posted earlier, so it makes sense that this will be the initial price point. I think a grand was floated before that. So the public's (and blogosphere's) collective drooling has probably cost prospective owners a couple hundred dollars as the marketing department and the bean counters put their heads together to see how much they could get.
