Now I found 2 Nikon Film Bodies 1 with 50mm lens. I haven't done any research yet but is this company still in business? ;)

The Rolleicord is a work of art or at least a marvel of engineering.Too pretty or complex for me to take pictures with. Plus I'm a digital slave these days. And the Sec of finance in my house says no more photo expenses for me until I clear out some of the stuff I never use.

Thanks for everyone's input. I have not decided yet. I don't know the condition other than how it looks.

Meanwhile I keep digging in the box - there's got to be a Pentax in there somewhere.

Kind of like the kid who got the bag of manure for Christmas and started digging through it for the pony?

The Rolleicord should be really easy to use, not very complex at all, compared to some TLR's, just a slow working camera, makes you take time to think.

I've always wanted a decent TLR but they're kind of fragile. I once dropped a Spotty three feet onto concrete, The meter had to be re-calibrated, and there was a huge dent in the pentaprism housing but the camera still functioned. A similar drop I witnessed in the studio with a Rollie left the camera pretty much beyond repair.

I would MUCH rather have the (free) Rolleicord than the moola,
personally. Of course so would the people who want to purchase it.
