Not really, you need a special prewash to get the black backing off the
film.  After that it's pretty much standard processing as there are no
dyes in the film itself.  I understand that the prewash is a messy dirty
business...

Any idea if any chemical solution is needed for the pre-wash? And, what that chemical might be?

Or any idea where I can find out?
