I give myself a haircut once a week (3/8"), on Saturdays. I haven't had a real haircut since Katrina. I needed one badly in Houston, went to a "barber school" and, for $8 got a haircut that was worse than Ross Perot's (did he live in Houston?). I went straight to WalMart, bought some clippers, and have since sported a Gunnery Sergeant Hartman haircut.
Did that for about 30 years, but not since I retired from the National Guard in 2007. Nor do I trim my mustache to standard any more.
