That's the lens I'm referring to.  The photos it takes have a yellow
cast to them, similar to the look of using regular "outdoor" colour film
indoors with incandescent lighting.  It is very pronounced, and
certainly not correct, imho.

I've only had this particular lens for about a year, but I'm given to
believe that they were fine when new, and "yellowed" with age.  Whether
this is due to being "radioactive" from rare earth elements decaying, or
from glue or some bonding agent decaying I don't know.

I do know (at the risk of repeating a post I made a month or two ago)
that someone at YahooGroups Spotmatic had a lens of his tested with a
Geiger Counter, and it measured "hot".  Not necessarily dangerously hot,
but hotter than the average hunk of metal and glass.  Whether that's a
cause of the yellowing, I don't know, but there you have it.

This is not merely a yellow reflection from the multi-coating.
