Thanks, Christine. Most of these shots are centered, because I was concentrating hard on catching the fast-paced action. I also made an effort to get some of the shore in the images, to set the scene and to show how close to shore the whales are at times. We frequently watched them from the shore, although of course they are further away and harder to photograph.
The experience was incredibly exciting and photographically challenging.
