I had the sibling V700 model (very little different from the V750). It's as good as you can get before spending for a Nikon Coolscan 9000. Once I had the V700, I saw no reason to spend for the Coolscan because if I really needed better results it was easier to rent time on the local pro-shop's Imacon Flextight scanning equipment. As it turned out, I did so little film scanning after buying the V700 it went unused the vast majority of the time.
