Hi Paul,

Before the 60-250 came out I was looking at replacing my 50-200 Sigma
lens.  I took a memory card into a shop and did some test shots with
the Pentax 50-200 and 55-300 and neither could convince me to change.

I am however very happy with the 60-250.  I got mine by having CR
Kennedy price match what I could get it for from B&H.  At the time
they were retailing in Australia for AU$2900 which was far too much (I
think they are about AU$1300 now).

It's a heavy lens but it's worth the extra weight when you want the
quality.  The others don't come close.
