I've had 3 Pentax digital SLRS and sensor cleaning is a very seldom needed thing with my cameras - I go out of my way to keep dirt out and I've shot in freezing snow storms, pouring rain and high winds in the desert. When changing lenses,I keep the camera body opening facing down and am as quick as I can be in reattaching the lens.
