The roll of 36 exposure Kodak gold 200 in my MZ-5N seems to be giving me problems. After about 12 exposures the camera could advance no more and the LCD window showed me the little roll indicating a problem (I already knew something was up). I tried to rewind the film and it didn't do anything so I took the camera into the closet (dark), took the film out, and wound it back into the cassette. I then reloaded the cassette in the camera, advanced quickly to about frame fifteen and started shooting again. I got to about frame 25 and now it's sounding like it's binding again. Anyone else had this sort of problem? Bad cassette? Crapped-out camera (EEEEK!)? AND, given the recent questions about gray market goods, is there a chance I can't get it fixed in this country? I'm wondering why they wouldn't just fix anything with the Pentax name on it. What about all the military service folks who buy cameras and other stuff over seas? Or even the poor guys like me who buy cameras from nice guys in Australia?
Cory Waters about to just take this darn roll of film OUT of my camera. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions. Don't forget to visit the Pentax Users' Gallery at http://pug.komkon.org .
