Actually, he got lucky. The way I heard the forecast, he was due for an inch or so of ice. I would take a few extra inches of snow any day. We got 6 inches here in mid-Michigan. I was in the U.P. (Michigan's Upper Peninsula) this weekend, driving back yesterday evening through the heaviest snowfall. Quite lovely actually. Only had one idiot spin out in front of me and was able to avoid him with little drama.
