I want to thank everyone for all the positive response on my efforts with this
book. I have had several comments that have expressed interest in buying the
book but no sales yet on Blurb. May try to see if I could get enough interest
to
make an order myself and sign them and send out rather than pay the expensive
shipping that Blurb charges. Have to see if I can get 10 commitments.
Brian, to do the two page spreads, I just used the software that Blurb
supplies.
Put the same shot on facing pages, resized them, and used the cropping lines to
adjust. Seems to work pretty good. It looks to me that the P 51 may have lost a
little bit, the W seems to be cropped a little too tight. Christine, thanks for
the WOW. I try to bring out the beauty that I see in aircraft rather than just
documenting the machine. Larry, I am glad to be on your "hate list", especially
140 times. Thanks for the post Mark. Paul, Walter, Cotty, Thanks all for your
appreciation. Bob, I would love to come to Oshkosch, but I really prefer
smaller, more intimate venues so there is access to the aircraft and better
aerial shots. Richard, thanks for your comments and for forwarding the link to
your friends.
Steve, I really do appreciate your thoughts. I knew there was some redundancy
but I also hope to use this book as a catalog and so the similar shots give
more
choices. As far as the captions, I am not sure what happened, I thought I had
everything pretty consistent but the Blurb software is pretty clunky and was
giving me fits at times.

By the way, there are two of Doug's shots in there too.

Once again, Thanks to all.

Ted
