i've watched the series through your RSS feed and while they've all be a
interesting in their proficiency, this is the first that has really
grabbed me; in a sense, while there is "communication" in most of the
others, and i often enjoy photography of the mundane, most in the series
have felt quite dry; but this one communicates outwardly, tells _me_
something with lots of subtlety -- here is a man exposing himself to the
elements, to scrutiny, and to a long article about physical movement;
the word "free" is repeated -- is he free? the tree echoes the arc of
the man's back, his face has a wonderful profile ... and overall the
composition reminds me of Tim Bray's Palimpsest from Sunday
