I think you can get a new 5n for approx. 280 after rebate...only 40 more than a new zx-l. I don't see buying any camera without, at the very least, center-weighted metering. Ergonomically speaking the 5n is one of the best. The zx-l will be hard pressed to beat it in this area. Be advised this is coming from someone (me) who has only handled a 5n (own one) and not a zx-l. If you have the bucks I would advise you buy a PZ1p. Own one and adore it. Wish I had two or three.
