I would say they are cute, but not "quite beautiful."  In fact, to my
taste, they are overly "cute";  what is sometimes referred to as "cute
overload."

They are artificial, to the extent that the baby often appears to be a
doll.  To some extent, the give me the feeling that the baby is being
used as a toy, rather than being treated like a live baby.

Just my feelings;  I recognize most others will differ.
