If somewhat more DOF, along with the inclusion of all of the center icicle, I feel it would be a stronger image.

Again, Jack - The DOF & cutoff of the icicle were compositional choices I deliberately made. It was a fairly long icicle & if I included it, it would have made me include more blank image than I wanted.

You pointed out the correct spelling of icicle !
