Hi!
Picked the little bugger up yesterday. Given that I have K7, I did not
have to wait for batteries to charge. Set it up - man, they keep adding
options. Fired off some shots. Presently I have two major impressions:
1. The shutter action is even softer than that of K7. The stealthiness
of K5 is remarkable.
2. The AF under plain 60 Watt lamp is more thoughtful than that of K7. I
am not certain as to precision thereof, but it surely takes its time.
Noticed also that under LV it magnifies the area where it is focusing.
May be I don't need split focusing screen for this camera...
Today I am going to "dial in" my lenses as Paul says and do some
shooting with the family.
Last but absolutely not least, K7 has officially been passed to Galia. I
changed the owner name in the settings and she smiled broadly when I
showed her that K7 was now hers.
Boris
P.S. Pricewise, in shekels I paid for K5 less than I paid for either
K10D or K7.
