I like it. My home town in Massachusetts is an old mill town. The skyline was spotted with these 200 ft brick chimneys (like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Durfee_Mill_No1.jpg). A number of these have been converted to cell towers. The locals were oddly reluctant to have them taken down so it's a good solution.
