I almost bought a Zenit, but ended up paying about $20 more and got a Praktica. Also had M49 "universal" screwmount. The idea was to eventually buy a Spotmatic and be able to use all my lenses. Only took me 25 years to get that Spottie (at a garage sale), but by then all my old screwmount stuff had long since been stolen or lost. Had I not bought that Spotmatic (actually it was an SP500), I wouldn't be on the list today. ;-) cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
