One of the things I will never forget from last Tuesday was the look on the faces of the people around me. They were quietly scared out of their minds. And I may as well have been looking in a mirror.
I know what you mean. I was on the 6th floor of a hotel in Anaheim back in about '91 when it was hit with a high-six or low-seven (Richter) earthquake. I went to stand in the door, as trained, and looked up and down the hall to see (almost) the same thing you saw: a look of quiet terror on nearly every face. Or it could've been loud terror, it was difficult to hear over the roar of the quake and the building around me. I don't think I screamed.
Good luck on the recovery and rebuilding. You're in our thoughts. -- Thanks, DougF (KG4LMZ) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
