I agree.
In practice, however, I tend to just let the camera sit in the bag
until warmed up. The benefit of a separate plastic bag is that it
warms up faster. The benefit of using the camera bag is less handling.
A bag with weather protected seams and zippers will be sufficient, at
least down to -10 °C. Not sure how cold your mountains get in Turkey.

In both cases, it could be wise to pick the memory card out of the
camera before sealing the bag. :-)
