Ran across an article in Alaska Magazine about a whole 'nother breed of bikes used in the winter time, in Alaska.

This link will show one example of the 'Fat bike' http://viciouscycles.com/frames-thunderwing.php3

There is a bike-manufacturing company here in Minneapolis called Surly which makes such a fat-tire bike as well. Very cool, very expensive.

One of the brewers here at "Surly Brewing" rides a Surly Bike and keeps a can of Surly beer in the bottle cage. It's a fun combo.
