Indeed. I am most worried by the fact that (judging from our local news agencies) Japanese officials started using word "Chernobyl" and comparing their situation directly to Chernobyl catastrophe.

In comparison, the fact that Canon, Nikon, Epson and others are closing their fabs is sad but of much smaller magnitude than the scale of the global catastrophe that struck the country.
