I have a HP 2009 Series Wide LCD Monitor my resolution is set to 1600 x 900 so I will be playing around with the settings on my camera to see if that is causing the issue with Blue skies. Jeffrey, could you try a quick experiment? If you put an image on the screen and then view it from 45 degrees above the display, does it look fairly washed out? If you then view the same image from 45 degrees below the display, does it look significantly darker (possibly with blueish-tinged white areas) ?
If so, it's a TN display. If not it's likely an IPS display of some sort. My money's on TN though.
If it's a TN display, then you need look no further for your banding issues. -bmw -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
