They are mail order but have a small showroom in their Cotswolds base and welcome visitors. Manfrotto prices are just about to go up, so we snook in with a 055XPROB (the 190 wasn't really tall enough for his 6' 3 1/2 " !) and a 496RC2 ballhead with quick release mech. He owes me some money! At least they knocked off the delivery charge as we came in person. The other day he says he needs a macro lens. I said you can use the Tokina 90/2.5 macro but you'll have to use it on the *ist Ds. Later he says 'not a bad camera' ! He's already hinting that his 1D 'isn't really up to the task and keeps sending me ebay auction links for a 1DmII.....sigh.
