All my previous attempts have been with a "72" designation filter on various 
digicams, also the Sony NightShot. Images were always not quite there - I had a 
sneaking suspicion that what I was getting was rather the remaining visible 
light getting through. The holy grail of course is to be able to get within 
reach of what can be done with good B&W IR films but with the added benefit of 
higher/variable ISO and instant gratification the digital camera provides.
