I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to
get temporarily established back here in Raleigh for my internship &
therapy.
Part of it is trying to get some work done to get two computers running
again. One a power supply failure and the other a hard-drive that's
getting ready to crap out. The flaky drive is off at my local service
shop being cloned onto a new drive, so I might have one of the computers
back in service soon ... early next week I expect because I'm not likely
to have time to go pick the drive up & install it before then.
The power supply failure looks to be more problematic - proprietary form
factor and no longer manufactured. I'm either going to have to drill the
case to make a standard size power supply fit or replace the case.
I'm sorta' leaning toward the latter but that's going to cost more at a
time when my wallet don't got much left in it but moths! It may have to
wait.
Haven't even had time to lurk properly. Looks like I'm just about 80
digests behind at the moment.
I've got an hour or so for myself right now before I have to report to
work this evening, so I thought I'd just skip ahead and drop in anyway.
If my participation appears a bit more disjointed than usual, you know why.
