I was setting out on the path I've been following since then; 1976 was when I bought my first K-mount; the MX that can still be found languishing in my cupboard. I was also firmly established with my girlfriend of the time, although I wouldn't actually marry her for another two years. She's still around, too. On the work front, I was working for Digital Equipment Corp. (on DecSystem-10 Algol) in Reading.
