Easiest way to get there... If you have a copy of Lightroom, you can import the files, sort them by capture time, then re-set the capture time as appropriate using the "Metadata->Edit Capture Time..." command. Be sure that the Catalog Settings, Metadata tab "Write date or time changes into proprietary raw files" is set. Then "Metadata->Save metadata to file" to write it back properly.
You can do this with an evaluation copy of Lightroom too, if you don't normally use Lightroom.
