colin the 4100n will try to obtain a dhcp address on the network. if you have a router it should get one. you can then either refer to your router status page or use a network scanner to determine that Ip address. such a scanner would be ipswitch wsping pro pack to name just one. i can mail it to you if you want (and if gmail lets me or we may have to go through another mailbox) if all else fail i can give you remote support cheers ecke
