My black dog to be exact. There was a thread not long ago about people
being unable to get a decent photo of their little black dog. (I didn't
bother to check the archives so maybe it was a big black dog). Be that
as it may, my first thought was, obviously they didn't use flash, which
would make it easy. This wasn't. I was messing around in my dark as
the pit, work area, with the F 70-210, not exactly a speed demon of a
lens, because I was bored, and I snapped a couple of photos of the dog
in his "New" chair. Available light, from two 100 watt bulbs. Shutter
speed of 4 tenths of a second.

Equipment: Pentax K20D w/smc Pentax F 70~210 f4.0~5.6
Note: This is kind of heavily processed, to remove a bit of digital
noise in the shadows and there was a distinct bluish cast that was at
odds with the generally yellow cast from the bulbs so I converted it to B&W.
