Paul... Comm Arts is basically a trade publication. My wife works at a printing broker and they use Comm Arts for ideas for designers that come to them with projects...designers on their own use it all the time.
It's a very nice piece. I look forward to thumbing through it every year. The photography is, of course, outstanding, because it's all been published (although they have an Unpublished category as well for students). About as legit a contest as you'll find.
