Hello again, I forgot to say that I had no lenses on any bodies, only body caps, so all the bodies were compared in the same condition. The difference was there with lenses too.
Aleksandar Hello, Just sold my new MZ-S and SMC24-90 (I finally decided that plasticky AF cameras with small dim viewfinders are definitely not for me) and bought myself a third LX body and 28/3,5 and 135/3,5 SMC Takumars (with lots of money left). This body has a different shutter sound than my previous two! It's serial number is 5341695, which falls between my old bodies which are 5262746 and 5343175 (this one suffers from sticky mirror and mirror misalignment syndromes). My old bodies have identical, somewhat sharper shutter sound, which is followed by some sort of quite audible metallic echo. The new body has almost identical basic sound, but it sounds a little bit duller and damped and it is completely free of that echo! Any ideas?
