>BTW, wasn't that the one unable to keep the film flat?
How nice of you. Film flatness is an issue with all medium format cameras and particular with 645 cameras. If the film stays on the spools for awhile in the camera the section of the frame spending time best over the rolls may experience flatness issues. The extent is temperature dependent. See the medium format section of photo.net and search for film flatness. You'll find plenty of post on this issue. It is common and not particular for the Pentax 645. It happens with 35mm slr's as well. Both the Nikon F5 and Pentax Z-1p show this phenomenon. The camera is in perfect order and checked by Pentax . BTW similar problems are common for 6x9 cameras as well. Pl - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
