the film we're studying this week in my French cinema class is Les Sentiments, by Noemie Lvovsky. In it the hero (such as he is), the great Jean-Pierre Bacri, blows the dust of his camera as part of his plan to seduce the woman next door. His camera is a Pentax, one of the silver ones that came out towards the end of the Film Age.
