Yes it's the built in flash. I forget what RTF stands for. I'm on an anti-inflammatory which is destroying my brain, and I've helped it along with a little bourbon. These pills are quite strong. I saw a blackbird on the back lawn the other day and for a moment I wondered why he wasn't wearing shoes. The people at work were in tears with laughter after hearing that... Thankfully I only have three days left, then I won't have any excuses :) > I haven't > touched a flash in months and I'm wondering, what with the K-5 and > lots of 2.8-and-faster lenses, if I ever will again. -T I very rarely use flash. I have to be desperate. Having said that, I was using f/2.8 lenses but just couldn't push a fast enough shutter speed even at 800ISO. I wasn't shooting wide open though as the depth of field is way too narrow. Yesterdays lesson: don't wear a baseball cap while using the RTF as the peak will push the flash forward by just enough to deactivate it.
